I work in Iraq and this watch is perfect for me. As you can imagine with my line of work, I can destroy watches. On more than one occation I have bumped on to concrete barriars. Not only did the watch face not scratch it has broken chunks of concrete off. Not saying you should use this watch as a jack hammer, but it will stay looking good for a long time. The only problem I see is it is the case is a little to small. It says that it is 41mm. But that is including the screw down case. The actual watch is closer to 39mm. I think TAGs are fashion watches and spending more than a ,000 on them (and also buying mechanical movements) doesn't make a lot of sense. This watch is perfect. It looks very good, it's solid, and once new styles come along, it's not too expensive to be replaced with a new one. A very nice sporty diver watch for younger crowd.

well what can I say, Rolex is Rolex, I've loved the brand for ages (my papa is a watch afficionado loves the brand) they are expensive it took me 36 years to have it..gave it a bit of thought because 7k is quite some money, but after thinking it for couple of weeks i said "screw it let's do it"... the funny thing is I do not have the submariner dahhh but a GMT master 2, which I believe (if you are not a professional/leisure diver) the GMT is better choice, it keeps time in 3 time zones, with my job in a globalized world I have to keep up from Athens, Mexico, San Diego and Canada, so the GMT is great for keeping your agenda up to speed. the new watch (also the Submariner) has a new ceramic bezel, which in my opinion is the best part of the watch (if you broke it down) still as an altogether watch is magnificent.. too much tradition, too much time..like other people say, this is a jewel that stands the passing of time....also have an omega GMT seamaster, have had it for 5 years now, and believe it or not keeps better time??!!!(the Rolex get's few sconds behind), still Rolex is Rolex,,,everlasting beauty and also performance...if you got the buck, the luck and the style...get the rolex won't be dissapointed!!!

I bought my Rolex Explorer 11 on eBay for ,000. I like eBay because I can communicate directly with the seller, by email or telephone if I choose. The watch here on Amazon looks good but the price is a bit high compared with other used watches of this type. I would not pay more than ,500. What year is it? When was it last serviced? Would the seller accept a lower selling price? I would need to know all this before I would buy. Before I bought mine on eBay I looked at several Ex 2's and found a seller that had a very good reputation and we exchanged emails for weeks until I decided to buy from him. br /br /I like the overall look of this watch and the fourth hand for a different time zone is very nice even if you don't travel. This model also comes with a black dial (face) with white hands which is easier to read in dim light and the case measures 39mm not 40mm. The movement is a beauty, a work of art. The movement is the heart and soul, the 'engine' of a watch. Rolex has the best! Whether an entry level Rolex like the Air King or the most expensive Daytona, both movements are of equal quality. On the balance wheel on the balance complete of the movement are 4 little adjusting screws. This is how a competent watch technician would adjust it if the watch runs fast or slow. My watch ran 4 seconds fast a day. A couple of weeks after I bought it I took it to a watch repair shop that I trust - does not need to be a certified Rolex center - and had it adjusted. Now, it runs about +1 second every 2 days checked against GMT (Greenwich Mean Time). Some people say that their automatic watch runs fast or slow depending on how they wear it. Well, Rolex is no different in this respect. Sometimes my Ex 2 will loose a couple of seconds a day with heavy usage but normally will gain 1 second in 2 days.br /br /It is rather daunting knowing that this Rolex will most likely live longer than me. br /br /I have purchased many things on both Amazon AND eBay including watches (cheaper ones) and never had a bad transaction. I can't say anything negative about this watch or Amazon.

I really love this watch, but I hate the fact this baby retails for .450 and can be had for .075. A preowned one may cost you around .000. Some jewelers tell you that if you invest in this watch, you may get your money back withing 10 years. That never happened to me. If you think about it, it's like buying bonds from corporations and not receiving interest in return, just your money back! Are watch aficionados subsidizing Rolex? Is the cost of wearing a brand, tradition, and history on your wrist really worth that much? I can get an Omega Seamaster 300M GMT with automatic movement Cal. 1128 and COSC Chronometer Certification for .630. I would be buying into prestige, tradition, and history for 1/3 of the price. Is the Explorer II water resistant to 300M? I think not. So what's all the fuss? Yes, the Explorer II is a beater and a dressy watch at the same time with an outstanding craftsmanship. I would give it a 5-star rating if ever sold for .000.

I bought the invicta 8926 pro diver, an invicta 9211 speedway, and the Skagen 233LTMN. I read through countless reviews on these watches and these were my top 3. All of these watch were reviewed well and upon receiving them I would tend to agree. As for the pro diver, it's a cool watch. being able to watch the mechanics through the clear case on the back is a nice feature, for whatever reason it seems the invicta 9211 came with a heftier band, which was something I liked. All in all, it's a nice watch to have. I have not gotten to test out how much the watch holds it charge after you stop wearing it (I heard 24 hours), that could be a draw-back depending on how you plan on wearing the watch.

Poor quality - BruisedAlmighty - MD
After wearing it daily for a couple of months, the pin that holds the safety for the fold-over-clasp broke down. I didn't want to get rid of the safety, so I let it hang in there until it just fell off one day without me noticing. Then a few months after while I was walking, the watch just fell off of my wrist. The pin for the fold-over-clasp somehow broke so the bracelet got disengaged. I didn't bother looking for the pin anymore.

I recently purchased this watch. It looked nice but I was settling for it because I did not want to spend 3 times as much on the one I wanted. With the reviews, I thought I might get a good one and be happy. The odds were against me.br /br /Pros:br / 1) Solid buildbr / 2) Looks neat from the backbr / 3) Clasp has a safety on itbr / 4) Bezel is painted with good stuffbr /br /Cons:br / 1) Poor quality control. The automatic wind would not retain more than a minute. The manual wind achieved 4 minutes.br / 2) The date lens is raised quite a bit and is not strong enough to justify having it. If it scratches, bad, it will be useless. br / Because of its height, it probably will scratch quickly. br / 3) The clasp did not have a push button release so it will wear out more quickly than better clasps.br / 4) The warranty service is poor and costs more than it is worth. Instead of getting it fixed right, I just returned it and willbr / not buy another Invicta again.

I bought this thinking that if it only lasts me a year, then it was still a pretty good deal at this price. I've had this watch for over two years now, and it's been great! I wear it pretty much every day. The mechanism is very true, only losing time if I don't happen to wear it for a day or two. The crystal has been very durable too (I've whacked it a couple times). If you're looking for a automatic watch but don't have a ton to spend, get one of these. You won't regret it!

When I first laid my eyes on this watch, it immediately caught my attention. I initially set out to buy BM Capeland. But after comparing it against the Capeland, I certainly found this watch (Riviera) to be better looking. By no means, I am even trying to imply that Capelands are not good looking. The picture doesn't do justice to this watch at all. You have to see it in person to see its true beauty.br /br /This watch is very easy to resize. All you need is one of those small flat head screwdrivers. It is very comfortable to wear. It doesn't feel too heavy or light. It feels just about right. I also like the dial size and color. It is also very easy to wear and take off. br /br /Dual time, a feature on this watch which some people may find it useful. I don't see much use for it but it makes the watch look prettier. I think it is better than having chronograph with those extra buttons. br /br /I am very please add this watch to my collection of Omega, Breitling, Raymond Weil and Tiffany Co watches. br /br /Please note that I didn't purchase the watch on Amazon.
